I remember a summer day in 2005 when my boys went knocking on the doors of neighbors and volunteered to wash their cars for free. It was their idea, not coaxing from Mom or Dad!
what a great idea! I guess for winter, you could clean the snow off someone's vehicle. or like my step brother does: drive around in your big hemi engine truck with a lot of rope and hot coffee and pull people out of the ditch!! As long as their are no injuries, and they didn't cause an accident --- it can save someone a lot of tow truck money!

Washing cars can be so much fun especially when it is hot outside. What an amazing job your boys did.
ReplyDeleteA lot of suds left behind, but they did really good for their ages.

ReplyDeleteWatching out for each other and their property is very good neighbor thing.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteWe lived in town then. The houses were much closer together and parking was tight. It was also easy to notice if something out of sorts.
ReplyDeleteThe boys do have their moments of sweetness. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNow the boys are old enough to clean off their own windshields, shovel snow and other 'manly' chores. =D
