The birds had the right idea and flew south.
Why didn't I follow them?
I was planning on taking down the exterior Christmas decorations.
Changed my mind!
After a few hours of shoveling out, I came inside to enjoy a few mugs of Hot Cocoa.
Brrr!! I think the Christmas decorations can wait ;) you enjoy that hot cocoa!
ReplyDeleteHot Cocoa is the best thing about cold winters!
ReplyDeleteI could go for a cup of cocoa right now - I'm out of coffee and it's too cold to run to the store! We have the day off as all schools are closed due to the extreme cold. It looks like you got a pretty good snow fall! I'd wait on the decorations too. It always looks so fresh and bright though. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! That is a lot of snow... Stay safe and warm!!!
ReplyDeleteStay warm. The hot chocolate looks like a good start.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it sure did snow!
ReplyDeleteYes it did.....looks pretty! Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteAhhh..... I feel right at home. :)
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get so much snow - as ice. A guy with a truck that has a plow on the front actually cleared our driveway. it was to hard to shovel. But now we are back down to freezing temperatures again. very treacherous walking. Stay warm and safe.
We were hit with the freezing temperatures today. It's a record low in my area. My friend's garage door was frozen and it wouldn't open. Never heard of that happening before!
ReplyDeleteYou stay warm and safe too!
The rain washed most of it away on Sunday. Then we were hit with freezing rain and we have nothing but ice. I'd rather have the snow back!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen snow (in person, I mean)?
ReplyDeleteHot Chocolate was lovely and hit the spot!
ReplyDeleteCare to visit any time soon? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee. I enjoy hot tea and cocoa. We've been hit with the cold temps for two days now. It's been awful. My sister's water pipes froze. I hope your town warmed up by now!
ReplyDeleteThat and snuggling with Adam Levine. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAt this rate, the Christmas decorations will be coming down in the spring.
ReplyDeleteOn the way home tonight it was only -2 below zero. Much better. Back to the normal school and work day tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why I ask silly questions but now I need to get it out of my head. Do you operate the snow blower? We don't have one since our driveway is short (but the plows still manages to pile it on). Not as much fun as running a Zamboni but still looks sorta fun.
ReplyDeleteI think we pushed a little cold ice freezer air your way so watch out.
Hubby runs the snow blower. I figure once I use it, he won't anymore. So I don't.
ReplyDeleteThe plow always blocks our drive way and it seems to happen right after you shovel.
Already living in the ice age. Thanks so much for sending it in our direction.
=)
It was −16 last night. Today is was up to +9. I am looking forward to the + double digit numbers to come back.
ReplyDeletePretty, but....you can keep it. =)
ReplyDeleteNo, not like that. I've never seen snow fall and I've never been in so much of it. I've step on tiny bits and slid down a hill with some, but I can't imagine what you showed.
ReplyDeleteCome on Cyndy. You know you want to visit during sub-below temperatures and over a foot of snow!! =)
