This time last week was my 45th birthday. My son said with astonishment in his voice, "Mom, I thought you were 41." Hey, I'll take any younger year as a compliment. However, he ended his thought with "You will be over 50 when I graduate college." Gee, thanks for reminding me!

There was a windstorm that knocked our canopy off the posts.
Luckily my husband was able to put it back together.

Zachary had all four wisdom teeth removed. He's been walking around in agony for the last two days. I feel for him. I had mine taken out when I was a senior in high school. It's no walk in the park.

My friend, Audrey made me two hats for my birthday.
It was cold enough last night to wear one.

Corbie found a new place to sit on one of the kids chairs.
My princess has found her throne.
Have a wonderful Friday!
I'm not into the whole vampire thing, but I do love Jonathan Rhys Meyers : ) Happy Belated Birthday!
ReplyDeletevampires vs. zombies - we need more choices like a good creature from the black lagoon or a frankenstein. Long ago I had my wisdom teeth out one side at a time. That worked for me but I've heard some people will not go back for the last two.
ReplyDeleteI LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE The Originals... I was nervous they couldn't do it as good as Vampire Diaries... but yep, probably even like this better at points.
ReplyDeleteI got my wisdom teeth out when I was 18... still have flashbacks about it :(
I like Johathan Rhys Meyers when he played King Henry VIII in The Tudors.
ReplyDeleteor Predators vs Aliens.
ReplyDeleteI like the Originals much better than Vampire Diaries. I am developing a crush on Elijah. =)
ReplyDeleteI've HAD one since he was on TVD!!! When they killed Elijah in the 1st episode I was all on Twitter in rebellion!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the hat! Sorry about the Wisdom teeth. I did it my sophomore year of college and was miserable for a week!
ReplyDeleteI'm 42 and my six year old called me old last night -- aack! I can't even think of the math on her graduation!
Happy FF!

We had a boy's version of the little chair your cat is in. I can see how a cat would like it. Just the right size for snuggling into a ball. Wow, that must have been quite some wind! Glad your husband was able to repair it. I'll be over 50 when my kids graduate from high school! I turn 50 next year. Yikes! Congrats on winning Lisleman's contest! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou do NOT look 50. My gosh girl, you look awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI watch little children in my home, but I get to send them back to their parents. I applaud you for raising a 6 year old!
ReplyDeleteThanks sweetie!
