Friday Recap


My boys survived their first three days of school.  They got up on time and didn't miss the bus.  They have off Friday and Monday for the Labor Day holiday.


I've been trying to get my husband to sign up for direct deposit for years!  No kidding! Y.E.A.R.S!  Wednesday mentioned he'd like to go golfing on Friday.  I told him the only way would go golfing is if he turned in the direct deposit.  HA! The power of persuasion wins again!

My father-in-law's 70th birthday is coming up.  We are celebrating by going to his favorite restaurant.  After his heart attack a few years ago he watches what he eats and doesn't visit this restaurant much.  This is the type of restaurant that makes your mouth water and does not serve anything 'lite'.

    do you know I've been looking for ivory soap & cant find it in anything under 12 bar packages... just give me one freaking bar of soap!! :)

      I couldn't find one bar of soap either, I had to buy a 12 pack.

    Well, I can't imagine why you'd put Ivory soap in your microwave, but you must have been making something!

    Love the teal color and yes, it goes really well with the other colors!

    I love that teal color ... it's gorgeous and used in small doses like that, it really pops.

    When I worked, I didn't have the option of anything BUT direct deposit ... and it was worth it not to have to make a trip to the bank. ;-)

    Now after you get the direct deposit going you'll switch banks. Hey I like that dragon/dinosaur costume. Much cooler costume stuff for kids than when I was a kid. Oh did I mention my psychic bank account service?

    I think I pinned ivory soap in micro at one point - have not tried it!
