A few months ago, after Brandon turned 14 he began working at Center Ice Hockey Rink as a skate guard. Which means during public skate sessions, he skates around and makes sure the people are following the rules of the rink. He wears a bright yellow jacket and a shiny whistle around his neck.
With Brandon's new job he saved two months of his paychecks. A portion of the money went to open his very first bank account. With the remainder of the money he bought himself "bright red" Nike sneakers.
He wanted shoes to match his new sweaters I had bought him on Black Friday.
Who knew boys could be stylish?
Love them! He is styling! So cool he bought them with his own money....Katelyn loves to only spend my money!

Kathy, usually the boys spend my money too, but these sneakers cost way more than I was willing to spend. So Brandon learned (I hope anyway) the value of money.
